That's exactly why I created LOUIS & MAX.
What started as a dream to build something different has grown into one of New Zealand's happiest home and lifestyle stores. A place where colour is celebrated, gifting feels effortless, and discovering something unexpected is all part of the experience.
Every product on our shelves is personally selected because I genuinely love it. If it doesn't make me smile, it doesn't make it into the store.

Louis and Max are actually my two dogs - the original CEOs of happiness.
Their playful personalities perfectly capture everything our brand stands for: Warmth, fun, curiosity and bringing a smile to peoples faces.
From one little shop... In 2023 we opened the doors to our very first store in Howick with one simple goal: Create the kind of store we'd always wished existed. Since then we've welcomed thousands of customers, introduced hundreds of incredible brands, built an amazing community, and in 2026 opened our second flagship store in Lunn Ave. Watching LOUIS & MAX grow has been one of the greatest privileges of my life, and we're only just getting started.
