So, a lot has been happening in my life and business lately, and it’s sparked some super interesting questions that I’ve had to tackle. I’ve been getting a bunch of messages like, “We came to Howick to visit you and your shop, but you weren’t there!” 😢 This totally tugs at my heartstrings and reminds me that one of the biggest stars of my brand is… me! Yep, I’m blowing my own horn here 🎺 because it’s time to let my personality shine on social media and in-store too! ❤️
Starting next week, I’ll be back at the shop full-time! 🎉 You might’ve noticed I’ve been taking some time away lately to work on the biz from the outside (you know, business stuff!). During that time, I’ve been reflecting on why I started LOUIS & MAX, and how to keep making it bigger and better every single day!
LOUIS & MAX is always on my mind—literally! It’s my first thought in the morning and my last at night. This passion fuels me! When people ask me, “What made you want to open your own shop?” I just say, “It’s always been my dream!” And then I thought, “F*#% it, if I don’t do it now, when will I?” 😂 And here we are! 🫶🏼
But hey, balance is key, especially with the holiday season approaching and us being open 7 days a week! We’ve been rolling with “winter hours” lately, and after some thought, I’ve decided to keep them until November when we’ll add Sundays to the mix. Just a quick reminder of our current hours:
⏰ Monday - Friday: 9:30am - 5:00pm
⏰ Saturday: 9:30am - 2:00pm
